Attorney Carlos D. Gonzalez started on a unique journey to get to where he is today. Born and raised in Laredo, Texas, after graduating high school, Mr. Gonzalez moved to San Antonio to attend college where he worked in banking and finance as an Executive Mortgage Loan Officer. After earning a Bachelor’s in Political Science & Government, as well as a Certification of International Studies from Texas A&M International University, Mr. Gonzalez worked at Pacific Rail Services, eventually obtaining a managerial position offered by Union Pacific Railroad.
As a manager, Mr. Gonzalez oversaw the switchmen, conductors, and engineers in order to facilitate rail movement coming in and out of the largest international land port in America. After deciding to change his career path, Mr. Gonzalez betted on himself and pursued entrepreneurism and formed his construction company, Danigon Construction, LLC. One of Danigon Construction’s biggest accomplishments was obtaining a lucrative contract with U.S. flooring company Floor & Décor, serving as the exclusive builder of displays in four major Houston outlets.
Additionally, Danigon Construction, LLC specialized in home renovations and build-outs, winning “Best in Flooring” two years in a row by the Houston Business Association and obtained an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. During this time, and in order to capitalize on his trade, Mr. Gonzalez earned his Texas Real Estate License from the Texas Real Estate Commission. After two and-a-half years in operation, Mr. Gonzalez was presented with an offer to sell his company. Mr. Gonzalez saw this as an opportunity to finally fulfill his goal of becoming an Attorney.
